D v The Bishop’s Conference of Scotland [2022] ScotCS CSOH 46

The pursuer was sexually abused at the school by a priest and claimed damages for loss said to have been caused by the abuse. 

 

This case caused the judge to set out the law on psychiatric injury in Scotland.
